What You Earn

Pay is based on successfully submitted reports — all 6 photos captured, occupancy verdict set, and PDF generated. Blue Hawk collects a platform fee per report; you keep the rest.

Pay is calculated weekly and deposited every Friday. A "successful report" requires: all 6 required photos uploaded to Drive, occupancy verdict selected, field notes submitted, and PDF generated without error. Incomplete submissions do not qualify for payment.

The Workflow

How Each Job Works

Every assignment follows the same simple four-step process. You'll know exactly what to do before you leave your driveway.

Get Assigned

Blue Hawk sends you an assignment email with the property address and a direct link to your mobile field form.

Drive to Property

Pull up at the property. Open the mobile form link on your phone. The address loads automatically.

Document & Photo

Capture 6 required photos, select occupancy verdict, rate exterior condition, and add any field notes.

Submit & Done

Hit submit. Photos upload to Drive, PDF compiles automatically, and your completed report counts toward your weekly pay.

What You Need

Requirements to Join

No inspection license required. This is an exterior-only documentation role — if you can drive, photograph, and follow a checklist, you qualify.

Reliable Vehicle

You need a personal vehicle to drive to assigned properties. Mileage is your responsibility as an independent contractor.

Smartphone

All photos are captured and submitted through a mobile web form. Any modern Android or iPhone works.

Local Market Knowledge

You'll work properties in your area. Knowing your local streets and neighborhoods is an advantage.

Availability

Assignments are time-sensitive. We need techs who can complete a job within the requested window — typically same-day or next-day.

Detail-Oriented

Photo quality and accuracy matter. Blurry, incomplete, or incorrect submissions don't count toward pay. Take your time, do it right.

1099 Contractor Status

This is independent contractor work. You are not a Blue Hawk employee. You set your own schedule and are responsible for your own taxes.

What Makes a Successful Report

Every report must meet these standards to count toward your weekly pay. Partial submissions are not paid.

House Number Photo — Clear, readable shot of the address numbers on the structure.

Street Sign Photo — The nearest street sign confirming the location.

Front Elevation Photo — Full front view of the property from the street.

Angle / Driveway Photo — Side angle showing driveway and approach.

Street Left Photo — View down the street to the left of the property.

Street Right Photo — View down the street to the right of the property.

Occupancy Verdict — Selected as Occupied, Vacant, or Uncertain.

Exterior Condition Rating — Good, Fair, Poor, or Severe Hazard.

All photos saved to Drive — Each photo must show "Saved in Drive" confirmation before you submit.
